Yesterday's snow was a surprise and a delight. Unlike the blizzards of 2009, this one came and went quickly but still gave you a sense of winter! My favorite aspect of snow is when it sticks to the trees and turns them into a temporary winter foliage spectacle. It also reminds me that spring is not far away and I can look forward to warmer and longer days.
